The Galleon Centre has been a mainstay in Kilmarnock since the 1980s, first opening its doors to the public on 15 May 1987. And for better or worse, not much has changed since—at least, not on the surface.
Not wanting it to get left behind, I set out to create a much-needed brand refresh. This redesign aims to enhance user engagement, modernise communications, and establish a consistent, welcoming presence across both digital and physical touchpoints. It reflects a renewed commitment to providing accessible, high-quality facilities and programmes for all ages and abilities, while honouring the legacy of The Galleon as a trusted local institution.
